Who We Are and What We Do
In times of pain and loss, the Mid-County Volunteer Rescue Squad will provide quality emergency medical services.
Our purpose is to act as a stabilizing force and deliver our patients to definitive care safely, with dignity and compassion.
Our Ambulance Transportation
Our Basic Life Support (BLS) team staffs our 2 ambulances with a minimum of an EMT and a trained Driver. BLS units provide emergency response with an ALS (Advanced Life Support) backup when needed. BLS personnel are trained in basic airway management, bleeding control, CPR, orthopedic care, managing allergic reactions, assisting with delivery of newborns and much more. Our Squad covers portions of Northumberland County, (12) hours a day – (7) days a week – (365) days a year.
